Sleep Testing

A sleep study or polysomnogram is a measurement of several body functions which are used to identify and diagnose various sleep problems. Sensors are attached to the surface of your head,face,chest and legs with past or tape.  The technologist will monitor you in a separate room through these sensors and by video recording.

EEG's

EEG or Electroencephalogram is a test that measures brain waves and electrical activity to diagnose abnormalities in the brain.  An EEG is used to diagnose a variety of brain disorders. Please verify with your healthcare provider if an EEG test has been ordered.

EMG's

EMG or Electomyogram is a test that measures the electrical activity of muscles when they're at rest and when they're being used.  An EMG is often performed with a nerve conduction study that measures how fast the nerves can send electrical signals.

Botox

Botox is used in the treatment of multiple neurological condition, including but not limited to:

  • Spasticity
  • Cervical Torticollis
  • Blepharospasms
  • Dystonia

Individual response varies by patient and the effects last about 3 months although repeat treatment is required.
